Founded by the visionary Loris Malaguzzi.
A philosophy based on the ‘100 languages’ of a child.
Where the child is always placed at the center.
An emergent curriculum.
Where the classroom is the ‘third teacher’.
Little societies without segregation, or discrimination.
Where every human being is respected for who they are.
Global citizens, yet deeply rooted in their local culture.
This is the world-renowned Reggio Emilia Approach ©
This coming 9th November, 2019, Global Embassy together with Reggio Children, are proud to present the first public education conference in Vietnam, to officially introduce the Reggio Emilia Approach©* to educators, schools, parents and the general public, as the first of many exciting future projects of advocacy for this pedagogical approach.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with our keynote speaker, Dr. Claudia Giudici, President of Reggio Children, through the topic "Reggio Emilia Approach© in the Vietnamese context", where its philosophy and concepts will be shared, and its application in the context of Vietnamese culture and education.
Founder of 180 Studio, internationally renowned educationalist, architect and co-contributor to the ‘Third Teacher’ publication (Bruce Mau …), Trung Le, will then share his insight into the relationship between the architecture of school spaces and how this affects our children’s learning, through the topic, “The classroom is the 'Third Teacher' - architecture of a Reggio Emilia Approach© pre-school”.
The audience will also have an opportunity to meet Madame Ninh, one of our country’s foremost thought-leaders and education advocates, who will share her views regarding the current development of the Vietnamese educational and social context, its realities and trends, the opportunities and challenges that our country is facing regarding the 3 biggest levers of change in the 21st century - globalization, climate change, technological advances. How do we best prepare our children for the future, to develop and nurture the next generation of Glocal citizens of Vietnam - individuals with Global mindsets and Local values?
This is a landmark event as Vietnam continues to expand its networks across the world, so that we can learn from the very best, and contextualize these learnings to our local culture.
We are honored to invite you into our extended community of passionate individuals who strive each day to improve the lives of our children, so that they can become the greatest versions of themselves, and like nobody else.
  Our children.
Our future.

REGGIO EMILIA APPROACH©

The Reggio Emilia Approach© – an inquiry-based learning approach – values the belief that children are strong, competent and capable citizens who are full of wonder and curiosity to learn. It believes that children have a natural drive that makes them want to understand and know about the world around them and how this world relates to them. Every child brings with them deep curiosity and potential and this innate curiosity drives their interest to understand their world and their place within it. Children are believed to be capable of constructing their own methods of researching and learning using everything from play to a variety of other hands-on-learning experiences
